David Lee Windecher's commitment to criminal justice reform extends beyond the courtroom.
Drawing from his lived experience with the criminal justice system, his career as a criminal defense attorney, and more than a decade of work advancing rehabilitation and second chances, David founded RED Ed® to help transform how jurisdictions approach Pretrial Intervention and Diversion.
RED Ed® is a separate, technology-enabled company providing a Cognia-accredited Pretrial Intervention and Diversion (PTID) Program designed to support rehabilitation, accountability, workforce readiness, and successful reintegration.
David's own journey—from repeated involvement with the criminal justice system to becoming an attorney—shaped his belief that accountability must be accompanied by education and opportunity.
That belief led to the founding of Rehabilitation Enables Dreams (RED) in 2015 and, ultimately, the development of RED Ed®.
Today, RED Ed® brings years of program experience together with technology to support jurisdictions seeking a structured, measurable, and scalable approach to Pretrial Intervention and Diversion.
